Yehudis is a Registered Nurse and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and a trained art therapist (thesis pending). She provides virtual services to children, adolescents, and caregivers. Yehudis is experienced in supporting those struggling with complex concerns, including emotional dysregulation, dissociation, selective mutism, attachment struggles, self-harm, severe eating disorders, and other issues related to complex developmental trauma. She also has an interest in working with those struggling with chronic medical concerns, grief and loss, and high-performance artists and athletes. 

Using a gentle, empathetic, and thoughtful approach, Yehudis engages young people and their families with compassionate curiosity. Through many years of working with children, youth, and families facing tough challenges, Yehudis has gained a deep understanding of complex mental health needs. She integrates her professional experience as well as relevant scientific evidence to implement individualized services and support for clients. Yehudis is trained in a variety of modalities, including dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), the neurosequential model of therapeutics (NMT), art therapy approaches, and internal family systems (IFS) therapy. 

Yehudis obtained a PhD in Nursing from the University of Ottawa (2024), is completing an Art Therapy Graduate Diploma (thesis pending) from the Toronto Art Therapy Institute (projected completion 2024-2025), holds a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Ottawa (2016), and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Ottawa (2014). She has worked as a Registered Nurse at CHEO since 2014, providing care on the inpatient mental health and eating disorder units, the inpatient medical units, the neurology clinic, and the child and youth protection team. For the past 10 years, she has been a member of the CHEO dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) team. In addition to her work at CAFCO, Yehudis is also currently a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, and a professionally trained ballet teacher.
