Dr. Nicole Racine provides psychological services to children, adolescents, and families in English. Her areas of practice include anxiety, depression, parent-child relationship difficulties, emotion regulation challenges, trauma, adapting to challenging situations, and coping with health related challenges. She also works closely with parents and caregivers to address the whole family’s needs. Dr. Racine is committed to using evidence-based approaches that have research evidence. Her primary modality of treatment is cognitive-behavioural (CBT), although she incorporates attachment-based and relationship-focused interventions in her work
Dr. Racine received her MA and PhD in Clinical Developmental Psychology from York University in Toronto, Canada. She has trained and worked in several pediatric teaching hospitals in Canada including the Hospital for Sick Children, The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, and the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
